Following her outburst, Nigerians didn’t hesitate to share their input. While some agreed with her, many were quick to criticize and condemn.
Read some of their reactions below:
If Nigeria is as heavenly as some of the reactions to Omotola’s tweet suggest, who are the people running to Canada? Why is everyone, from office holders to anyone who can save up for a ticket working to have an American child? Can we at least even face our truths?

Omotola’s view reflects the views of millions of poor Nigerians;throwing mud on her cannot not twist the reality.

Good advice. Don’t mind her, fine “face” and pranting all over the place no longer pays, go and work hard or die complaining… no more freebies madam …

There cant be any solution without first admitting there is a problem..
We can’t fix our problems without first admitting them..
I work for clean money sir and i totally agree with @Realomosexy that our country is “Hellish”

My dear Omotola,
Thank you for standing for the truth in a moment like this, when some of ur colleagues have suddenly gone dump in the face of untold hardship, poor governance and reckless killings of innocent Nigerians.Posterity will judge you fairly ?

Madam Omotola those who are working for CLEAN money are not complaining and will never refer our dear country as ‘hellish’. In Kano State alone, from 2015 to 2018, no fewer than 200 medium and small scale rice milling centres emerged. For that, billions circulated among millions. //t.co/nWprKIgpLC

Omotola said something every Nigerian including Bashir and all buharists know…and it’s not rocket science but simple economics.
There’s no money in the system and it’s not because of corruption but simply because of clueless and bad economic policies.
This govt is clueless.

Omotola with a networth of over 400m says that money is not in circulation in Nigeria. However,Sulaiman from Osogbo with 10k in his account thinks the government is doing the best job

Some Nigerians are attacking Omotola . I see why most of you are satisfied with your minimum wage

This is not the first time that Omotola has spoken up over political and economic matters. Recall that the Actress also lamented on the huge economic gap between Nigeria and her neighbouring counterpart, Ghana.
