1. Rita Dominic was born July 12, 1975 to the Royal Waturuocha family of Aboh Mbaise local government area in Imo State.

2.  She is the youngest of four siblings.

3. Her late parents were medical practitioners; her father was a medical doctor and her mother was a nursing officer.

4. Dominic attended the prestigious Federal Government College Ikot Ekpene, Akwa Ibom State, Nigeria.

5. She then went to the University of Port Harcourt, where she graduated with a BA (Honours) Degree in Theatre Arts in 1999.

6. Dominic started performing when she was a child, appearing in school plays and children’s television shows in Imo State.

10. Dominic announced her engagement to Daily Times publisher, Fidelis Anosike in April 2022.  On 19 April 2022, Dominic and Anosike did their traditional wedding in Imo State, Rita Dominic’s state of origin while the white wedding was held in November 2022 in England.
