Multi-talented Yoruba actress, Ronke Ojo popularly known as ‘Ronke Oshodi Oke’ is well-loved by fans because of her creativity and her witty nature in movies.
She is also versatile as she can act both English and Yoruba movies.
To celebrate her on this day we have decided to share a few facts about her.
Early Life
Ronke Oshodi Oke was born July 17, 1974, in Oworonshoki, Lagos State but hails from Ondo State.
Born into a family of six, She attended Yemus Nursery and Primary School, Agege, and Muslim College, Oworoshoki for her primary and secondary education. She, however, did not attend a higher institution.
Acting Career
She began her acting career with a drama group called Star Parade in 1995/1996 under the leadership of Fadeyi, a Nigerian actor.
She also acted in movies like The Wicked In-law and Shattered Dreams. It was however her role in the 1999 movie ‘Oshodi Oke’ that brought her into the limelight.
She has acted in over 50 movies which include Abeke Aleko, Abeke Eleko 2, Ajiloda, Aimasiko eda, Okun Ife 2, Okun Ife, Asiri, Return of Jenifa to mention a few.
Music Career
Her musical career also began in 2014, the same year she launched her debut album at Times Square Ikeja. In 2015, she released a single titled Ori Mi featuring 9ice.

According to the actress, her boobs brought her into the limelight. ” My boobs are one of the things that brought me to limelight in the movie industry.” She once said in an interview with Vanguard.
Personal Life
Between 2000-2004, Ronke met her ex-husband who she had a daughter for but refused to stay in Canada with him due to her career as an actress.
She also revealed she could not get any happiness from the union as Nigeria was more home to her than anywhere in the world. She later waited for five years before getting married to her current husband, Sylvester Gbolahan Anthony in 2009.
The Actress currently has 3 children, two girls and a boy.
