Nigerian lawyers write to Senate, demand disqualification of Stella Okotete
This comes one week after some top Nigerian lawyers had called for the immediate disqualification of Okotete, a former Executive Director of the Nigerian Export-Import Bank (NEXIM) as ministerial nominee citing allegations of corruption and funds misappropriations.
The lawyers in the letter addressed to the Senate President, Godswill Akpabio titled “Appeal For An Urgent Action,” based their petition on disqualification of appointment as a honorable minister-designate on the pending case before the Federal High Court.
