Stella Damasus was truly a sensation in the 90s and early 2000s starring in iconic Nollywood films like Games Women Play, Passions, Dangerous Twins and many more.
Over the years, the actress has been quite scarce. However, it looks like Stella has got her groove back as she recently made a very solid reappearance in Daniel Ademinokan’s riveting short film, Here.

Here is the remarkable story of April who is rescued by her fiancé, Nick, from being hit by a car as she crosses the street while texting. This heroic act, however, does not come without life-long consequences.
The movie which stars Stella Damasus, TJ Fink, Sly Augustus, and Robert Aloi, was written by Ruméh Ejoor and produced by Stella Damasus and Daniel Ademinokan.
The Daniel Adenimokan-directed film is yet another short film that aims to tackle mental health. This film has screened in film festivals across the world and is scheduled to be screened again at the film festival in Berlin this February.
With her brief yet solid appearance in this short film, it’s clear that Stella Damasus hasn’t lost her acting groove and we hope to see her return to the big screen soon.
