Dealing with the in-laws can be frustrating, nerve racking and plain annoying. But most times, we do not have a choice of choosing who we want as our in-laws. Life gifts them to us.

However, if your in-laws do any of the following, then the chances are high that they do not like you.

1. They mispronounce your name

Not cool. Plain and simple. It shows they have no interest in getting to know you or trying to be civil.

2. They move the conversation off you

Social rejection can hurt just as much as physical pain, so bear that in mind if you feel like your spouse’s family is ignoring you or your accomplishments, then there is something wrong somewhere.

5. They Snub you

This is plain rudeness, if your in-law can never find something good to say to you but always treats you like yo do not exist, check again, they probably do not like you.
