
It is no longer news that the Ooni of Ife, Oba Adeyeye Ogunwusi, is set to wed his sixth wife, Temitope Adesegun. As per reports, the wedding will be held in Lagos on Monday, October 24.
There had been bits of rumours about the pair getting hitched as far back as 2018.
She will join the ranks of Olori Mariam, Olori Elizabeth, Olori Tobi, Olori Ashley, and Olori Ronke, whom the 48-year-old monarch married in one month.
Here is a biography about Temitope Adesegun.
1. Temitope Adesegun is a princess from the Adesegun Ibipe Royal Dynasty of Ago-Iwoye in Ijebu North, Ogun State.
2. She bagged her diplomas in linguistics and data processing from the University of Lagos in 1998 and 2000, respectively, and a bachelor’s degree in business administration from the same university.
3. She is a certified alumnus of many universities, including the University of Oxford, United Kingdom; INSEAD Business School, Fontainebleau, France; the University of Cambridge, Judge Business School, United Kingdom; and Harvard Kennedy School of Government in the United States.
4. She has over 15 years of progressive experience as a public administrator at several levels and a leader in health and other developmental communications and advocacy strategies.

5. In 2009, Temitope became the personal assistant to the secretary to the Lagos State Government, Princess Adenrele Adeniran-Ogunsanya, a position she managed till the end of her political tenure in 2011.
6. She was the anchor and host of the Lagos State Ministry of Health Public Health Advocacy Program, ‘Health-Wise,’ which aired for four years.
7. She currently leads the working team of the Hopes Alive Initiative, an advocacy program that aims to reduce the impact of poverty among the most vulnerable in society while creating equal opportunities for all for an exponential impact on immediate and global society.
8. Temitope is a divorcee.
