The news of the gruesome murder of a 25-year-old lady named has been received with rude shock.
Olamide Omajuwa Alli was allegedly stabbed to death by her fiance, Chris Ndukwe at his home.
Olamide, who was the founder of Pearl Academy Nigeria, dated 39-year-old Chris on and of for seven years and had two sons together aged 7 and 3.
The couple lived apart while Olamide lived in Ogba, Chris lived at Ilasan.
There were unconfirmed speculations that she was murdered over the paternity of one of their sons.
Olamide was found dead at Chris’ residence in Victory Point Estate, Ilasan, Lagos State on Sunday, June 21, 2020.
She had deep cuts on her head while the man’s mouth was reportedly covered with an unknown white substance.
It was alleged that Chris stabbed Olamide to death with a kitchen knife and thereafter drank some poisonous substance.
Two blood-stained kitchen knives, two empty bottles of the poison, three empty cans of energy drinks, and a pair of pliers were recovered from the crime scene.
Olamide’s sister who found the couple dead and raised alarm said they both visited him on Saturday on his invitation.
According to her statement to the police, she was woken up by loud music from the couple’s room. It was gathered that Chris tied Olamide up, sealed her mouth, used the pliers to pull her braids before stabbing her multiple times on the head and eyes.
An investigation into the incident has been ordered by the Commissioner of Police, Hakeem Odumosu.
Friends have since taken to social media to mourn her death.
