A new study has revealed a list of the world’s most body-confident countries and the least body-confident countries.

World’s Most Body Confident Countries

Malta has the world’s highest level of body confidence. Researchers from Anglia Ruskin University quizzed more than 56,000 people from 65 nations about their body image in a newly released global survey.

Malta, Taiwan, Bangladesh, and Kazakhstan topped the list of the world’s most body-confident countries, the Daily Mail reports.

At the other end of the table, Australia, India, and the UK were revealed as the countries with the lowest levels of people who are confident about their figures.

Previous research has found a link between high levels of body appreciation and a range of positive well-being traits, including improved self-esteem and healthy eating habits. The study also found that people who live in rural areas and those who are single tend to have higher levels of body appreciation than those who live in urban areas and are married.

The researchers say that the findings highlight the importance of promoting positive body image around the world.

They suggest that governments, schools, and businesses can play a role in this by challenging negative stereotypes about body image and celebrating diversity.

The researchers hope that the findings of this study will encourage people around the world to embrace their bodies and to celebrate their unique beauty.
