The 90s was such a fun time in fashion and beauty. They took tremendous fashion risks and stamped the colorful fashion period in history.

Ever since Janet Jackson starred in Poetic Justice alongside TuPac Shakur, wearing these braids, they have been stamped in history. Regina King and other black actresses followed in this trend in the 90s and now in 2018, black women are still feeling it.

The eyebrow highlight used to be considered old school about two to three years ago. However, runway make up styles has made it come back as a trend that many women now implement in their make up.
