Meet The Eight-Year-Old Who Just Made History As The Youngest Grammy Winner

Aura V

American singer Aura V has made history as the youngest recipient of a Grammy award in history.

The eight-year-old who is a part of the father-daughter duo, FYÜTCH and Aura V, won Best Children’s Music Album for Harmony at the 68th Annual Grammy Awards on Sunday, February 1st, 2026, making her the youngest winner ever.

At 8 years and 7 months old, Aura V, whose real name is Aura Valentina, has broken the record set by Beyoncé and Jay-Z’s daughter Blue Ivy when she won her first Grammy in 2021 at the age of 9, and also eclipsed Leah Peasall’s record by age. Blue Ivy won the Grammy for Best Music Video for her contribution to Brown Skin Girl at the 63rd Annual Grammy Awards in 2021, making her one of the youngest Grammy winners in history.

Aura V gave a shoutout to Icelandic singer (and Best Traditional Pop Vocal Album winner) Laufey during her acceptance speech, and is also a fan of Taylor Swift and KATSEYE. Her Spotify profile reads simply, “I love the music that I made. I was inspired by my dad. I love making music. It’s so fun.”

Harmony is musician and educator FYÜTCH’s latest venture into the world of children’s music. He has credited the project with allowing him and his daughter, described as “still a full-time third-grader,” to grow closer together.
