Buhari Names Idu Railway Complex, Light Rail Station After Deputy Sec-General Of The UN, Amina Mohammed
The federal government has honoured Amina Mohammed, the deputy secretary-general of the United Nations by naming the Idu railway complex and the light rail station both in the federal capital territory (FCT) after her.
This makes her the first living Nigerian woman to achieve such a feat.
Mohammed is also a former environment minister.
The announcement was made on Tuesday, via the federal government’s Twitter handle @NigeriaGov. confirmed the news in a separate tweet.

Minister for transportation, Rotimi Amaechi also confirmed the news in a separate tweet.
