Asisat Oshoala is a Nigerian female footballer doing us proud not only on the home-front but also internationally. The 23-year-old sportswoman has distinguished herself in the world of female soccer and her latest achievement attests to the fact.
In the recently concluded football season, Oshoala not only won the league’s golden boot but also the Super Cup and the league titles with her Chinese club, Dalian Quanjian.
Sharing a picture of herself posing with one of her awards on Instagram, she captioned the image, “PROUD MOMENT !! All GOLD everything!! 2017 Chinese women’s league award, BEST STRIKER OF THE SEASON (Top Scorer). Thanks to everyone for your support. I dedicate this award to my precious and loving sport mum, my sister and my best friend, whom has pushed and encouraged me throughout my season”.
In the course of her impressive career, Asisat has won several awards one of which includes best player in the 2014 FIFA U-20 World Cup.
