Wife Of Nigerian Entrepreneur, Awele Elumelu Completes Epic Chicago Marathon
Awele, the 53-year-old wife of famous Nigerian entrepreneur, Tony Elumelu has achieved a remarkable feat by completing the 42.2 KM Bank of America Chicago Marathon.
This win comes six months after she ran the 42-kilometre race at the 2023 Manchester Marathon.
The Chicago Marathon is a marathon race held every October in Chicago, Illinois. It is one of the six World Marathon Majors. Thus, it is also a World Athletics Label Road Race. The Chicago Marathon is the fourth-largest race by number of finishers worldwide.
Sharing photos on his Instagram page on October 13, he wrote:
“Congratulations #MrsTOE ❤️ on your completion of the 26.2 mile Bank of America Chicago Marathon. You continue to inspire,” the businessman wrote.
