Celebrity Moms Who Juggle Parenting With Giving Back To The Society


In Nigeria, we have so many celebrities who engage in other activities asides acting, singing or dancing. They earn a lot of money, yet have the time to give back to the society.

These celebrities have large hearts, and so many people have benefited from their good deeds.

Moreover, we have celebrities who are moms and have to juggle their parenting with their voluntary work. We’re more than impressed with their ability to take care of their immediate family and the society.

Here are 5 female celebrities who are philanthropists:

1. Omoni Oboli

In 2012, Nollywood actress, Omoni Oboli launched her foundation known as the ‘Omoni Oboli foundation’ as an initiative to help the less privilege, abandoned children and defenseless pregnant women. She also partnered with an NGO called ‘Child Lifeline’ which cares for street children and provides food and shelter for them.

In addition, during the 2019 Nigerian elections over the weekend, the Nollywood star impressed fans by volunteering to organize voters at VGC, Lagos.

2. Omotola Jalade-Ekeinde

The mother of four owns a charity foundation called ‘Omotola Youth Empowerment Programme’ (OYEP) which hosts orphans and widows in several ways.

In December 2013, she hosted an event for them with the theme Give and Let Give. In January 2019, she hosted a free home makeover for widows.

 


3. Mercy Johnson

Through the ‘Mercy Johnson foundation’, this mother of three donates to those who are hungry in the society and also helps kids to get back to school.

She shows how much time she has with her kids, yet she has the kindness to also take care of other kids.

 

4. Tonto Dikeh

The mother of a handsome King established ‘The Tonto Dikeh Foundation’ which focuses on giving support to young girls who have been raped, assaulted or molested. The foundation helps to mentor these young girls and help them build the mindset to fit into the society again.

5. Annie Idibia

Annie Idibia owns a charity organization called ‘Al Care Foundation’ which helps women and children with financial assistance and domestic supplies for their daily care.

Moreover, she engages her husband, 2Baba in some of the outreaches, and even her friends, Osas Ighodaro-Ajibade and Lillian Esoro to donate and participate.

The sweet mum spends quality time with her children and takes care of the community as well.
