Efemena Okedi, wife of the late reggae singer, Ras Kimono, died on Sunday, 23rd of September, 2018, in her Magodo-Isheri home in Lagos.

The late wife of the legendary reggae musician was loved by everyone around her. According to reports, she complained on Saturday night that she was not feeling well and was rushed to a hospital, where she was confirmed dead on arrival at about 3.30 am on Sunday.

1. Efemena Okedi was aged 42 years.
2. She’s the third and closest wife of the late reggae musician, Ras Kimono.
3. She’s a native of Isoko in Delta State.
4. Efemena has a daughter, Dimma, with the late musician.
5. She was a member of the Ras Kimono band.
6. She had a son, Onome, with the famous comedian, Ali Baba, before she got married to Ras Kimono.
7. Efemena died just three months after the death of her husband. Kimono, who celebrated his 60th birthday with friends and family, had concluded plans to travel to the United States before his demise in June. He was buried in his hometown, Onicha-Olona, in Aniocha North, Delta State, on August 26.
