Eucharia Anunobiis a Nigerian actress, producer, and pastor.

Here are a few things worth knowing about her.

Early life and Education

Eucharia was born on May 25, 1965 in Owerri, Imo State.

She completed her primary and secondary school education there before she proceeded to the Institute of Management Technology, Enugu where she graduated with a National Diploma in Mass Communication.

She also holds a Bachelor of Arts award after studying the English Language at the University of Nigeria, Nsukka.

 

Career

Eucharia came into limelight for her role in the movie Glamour Girls in 1994 and has gone on to star in over 200 movies including Abuja Connection and Letters to a Stranger.

 

She is currently serving as an evangelist at a church in Egbeda, Lagos State.

Awards and Achievements

In 2003, the “Abuja Connection” brought her success as well as an Award for the Best Actress in a Leading Role by the Africa Movie Academy Awards.

In 2018, she bagged a Postgraduate Diploma In Pastoral & Leadership from the Redeemers International Leadership Academy.

Personal Life

In December 2000, Eucharia Anunobi got married to Charles Ekwu but they divorced in 2009. The actress says their marriage broke down due to his betrayal with a housemaid and a lack of parental responsibility.

Eucharia lost her only child, Raymond from complications arising from sickle cell anemia on August 22, 2017. He was aged 15.
