Saturday, 16th December, 2017 was the date and Lekki Conservation Centre was the venue as the FabWoman team which consists of Anu Odubanjo (Creative Director and Strategist) Ayo Al (Content Writer) Tijani Jumoke (Social Media Strategist) and Bisola Bankole(Content Writer) had a end-of-the-year hangout.

The Lekki Conservation centre is a cool resort located at Chevron, Lekki Epe Express road. Spacious, airy and bordered by trees, this was a perfect place to have maximum fun and enjoy nature.

Entrance into the park cost N1000 per head.

The first on the agenda was to walk on the popular canopy ride which cost another N1,000.

We were put into groups of six and our journey began.

The ride was in 7 stages and with the canopy uplifted by hinges and ropes several feet above the ground. Though initially scary, once one got used to it, it became fun.

The canopy walkway happens to be the longest in Africa.

We also saw some monkeys.

There was also the section where we saw chess, ludo games and the draft board. The trees also gave it a nice ambiance which made it more fun.
