Lilian Bola Bach is a Nigerian model, actress, movie producer, and entrepreneur. She is believed to be one of the pioneers of the Nollywood industry and was popular for her roles in both Yoruba and English movies

Here are some facts about her as she turns 50.

1. Lilian Bach was born on November 9 1970 in Lagos Island to a Yoruba mother from Isale-Eko and a Polish father.


2. She lost her dad at the age of 10 and was raised by her mother.

3. She lived in various parts of the country during her formative years due to the nature of her father’s job as an engineer.

4. Bach attended Army Children’s School, Port Harcourt and Idi Araba Secondary School, Lagos.

5. She briefly majored in Theatre Arts at the University of Lagos but was unable to complete her education.

6. She started her career as a model in 1989 where she competed in the Most Beautiful Girl in Nigeria pageant and featured in several television commercials.

7. She made her debut in acting in 1997.

8. Bach won the prestigious Face of Delta Soap in 2000 and reigned as queen for two years.

9. She has acted in over 100 Yoruba nad English movies which include Married to a Witch, Not Man Enough, Outkast, Ogidan, Eja Osan

10.She took a break from acting in 2013 to set up her movie production outfit and venture into other businesses.

11. She has a foundation known as Bach Foundation to cater to lepers and people living with disabilities.

12. Bach is believed to be single although there were rumours that she secretly married her lover in 2012

13. She was involved in a controversy in 2017 when her former manager died months after the actress ordered her arrest and remand in Kirikiri over theft.
