Nollywood Actress, Mercy Johnson Inspires Young Girls On International Day Of The Girl


Ace Nollywood actress, Mercy Johnson Okojie spent the 2018 International Day Of The Girl at the US Consulate alongside other women to speak with young girls.

Mercy shared the moments and her excitement on her Instagram page with some photos termed the experience as  ‘bittersweet’.

Mercy Johnson Okojie, who was also appointed as the Senior Special Assistant (SSA) to the Kogi state Governor on Entertainment, Arts And Culture encouraged Nigerians to believe in young women and do more.

On the 11th of October, the #DayofTheGirl, I was privileged to speak at the US consulate to a group of bright young girls alongside a panel of some of the most inspirational women in Nigeria. It was a bittersweet experience, Nigeria’s future is in the hands of some exceptional young women, however, we need to do more.
