All The Celebrities Who Became New Mothers In 2018


It’s 2019 and we have some new mothers we’ll like to introduce you to. From January to December 2018, quite a number of female celebrities became new mothers. From actresses to tv personalities, we had several celebrities with miraculous childbirth.

This post will show you the list of celebrities who have become mothers between 2018- 2019.

1.Di’Ja

On Friday, March 9, Mavins singer, Di’Ja welcomed her second baby. She was able to conceal her pregnancy from prying eyes as none of her fans had a clue that she was expecting another baby. She announced the arrival of her baby girl on Instagram. Di’ja on Monday, March 12, shared a picture of her mum carrying her newborn baby girl and her son on Instagram.

2.Queen Nwokoye

In August, talented Nollywood actress, Queen Nwokoye welcomed her third baby. Nwokoye who loves to keep her family out of social media, shocked many when her first baby girl arrived because no none knew she was pregnant.

3.Linda Ikeji

Nigerian celebrity blogger Linda Ikeji on September 17, 2018, welcomed her bouncing baby boy in Atlanta, this was two days before her birthday. The proud mother immediately took to her Instagram handle to share the first photos of her son, Jayce.

4.Agbani Darego Danjuma


Former Miss World, Agbani Darego who is also a fashion entrepreneur revealed the birth of her baby boy after a month of birth. She had her baby boy in September 2018.

5.Yvonne Jegede-Fawole

On Thursday, November 1, 2018, celebrity couple Yvonne Jegede and Abounce Fawole welcomed their first baby in London. The new mother shared a post on social media announcing the blessing gained in her family. She also penned down a sweet love note to her baby and expressed the joy of being a new mother.

6.Actress Aisha Lawal

On Friday, November 30, 2018, congratulatory messages started rolling in for Yoruba actress, Aisha Lawal, after she welcomed her first baby in the United States (US). The new mother shared a post on her Instagram page, announcing that she welcomed her bundle of joy and both her and the baby are doing very well.

7.Toolz Oniru Demuren

Nigerian media personality, Toolz welcomed her first child in December. She revealed the birth of her son on the 1st of January, 2019 and expressed her excitement after having a miscarriage in 2017.

8.Funke Akindele Bello

It was indeed a joyous moment when Funke Akindele and her husband, JJC Skillz welcomed a set of  twins on the 22nd of December, 2018. This is the couple’s first children since their wedding in 2016.
