This is the case with an American man, Dennis Brown, who proposed to his girlfriend, Atara Dallas, with not one but a selection of six diamond rings.

The athlete disclosed that he knew ‘his day of proposal’ would come and that this was a moment he had planned for his whole life, and his fiancée deserves whatever ring she falls in love with.

The rings were said to be 6 different, unique engagement rings, from pearl to round, princess, marquise, emerald, and cushion-cut stones.

Working with event planner ThemeIT, Dennis revealed his sweetest feelings for Atara, and the company then printed it on a large banner, which served as a touching backdrop for the proposal.

In it, he wrote, ‘Today, on your special day I had the pleasure of putting a smile on your face all day. For there is no greater gift that I could think to give you.

A woman whose heart is full of love and devotion to me, a woman whose loyalty to all those she loves stands unmatched, a woman whose generosity and willingness to help others around her flourish know no depths.

‘A woman who single-handedly made me believe that a soulmate, a lover, a prayer warrior, a confidant and a best friend could be wrapped up in one amazingly beautiful soul that was handcrafted for me.

Sharing a photo of the six diamond rings, he wrote:
