This First Class Graduate’s Tweet For A Job Goes Viral And Here Is What Happened Next

Odufuwa Sola is a first class graduate whose story is one of many similar cases we can only hope have the same happy ending as hers.

The 22-year-old Physics Electronics graduate from the Ajayi Crowther University finished top of her class with a 4.83 G.P.A and best graduating student of her school but was at home for two years due to unemployment.

After failing at securing employment for, she decided to learn tailoring. It was in October she took to Twitter to beg people to help her secure a job.

Not too long after Premium Times published a story on her which then caught the attention of Adamu Garba , the CEO of an IT firm with offices in Lagos and Abuja.

Mr Adamu reached out to Sola and today she has been given employment by his organisation.

Speaking in an interview Sola said, “It’s actually a different field from what I learnt in school. It’s all about programming. The company has done well by providing me with a new laptop, eBooks, and videos to aid my transition into the IT world. And I have colleagues around me who are always willing and ready to help. It’s challenging but I know with time I will adjust.”

She also expressed her appreciation to Premium Times for their part in her success story.
