By now most of us have heard about Ogechi Ololo, younger sister to Governor Rochas Okorocha of Imo State who was appointed Commissioner for Happiness and Couple’s Fulfillment in the state.

While it is very easy to jump to conclusions that the move was not well thought-out and only done to give the Governor’s sister a political office, taking a look at Mrs Ogechi’s background tells a different story.

On a closer look, there is more to Mrs Ogechi Ololo and this is everything you need to know about her and what she was doing prior to her new political appointment.

1. She was a political office holder before her new appointment

Mrs Ogechi Ololo was the Deputy Chief of Staff for Internal & Domestic Affairs to the governor prior to being named the new Commissioner for Happiness and Couple’s Fulfillment.

2. She co-founded a foundation for people with special needs with her husband

The Chinyerem Hope Foundation was founded by her and her husband as a way of giving back to the society especially those with special needs.

3. Mrs Ogechi is a Masters degree holder

According to the Imo state blog site,  she holds a Master of Business Administration (MBA) with extensive experience in business management and entrepreneurship, having served as vice president for a global telecom services company.

4. She is married with four kids

Hon Mrs Ogechi as she is popularly called is happily married with four kids according to reports.

5. A parody account has been opened in her name on Twitter

Since her swearing in alongside 28 other people on Monday, many have taken to twitter to troll Mrs Ogechi over the ‘ unreasonable’ political appointment that was given to her. A parody account was opened in her name on Twitter bashing her trolls just as much as she is being bashed.
