Sangria is an alcoholic beverage of Spanish origin. It traditionally consists of red wine and chopped fruit, often with other ingredients such as orange juice or brandy.
In this recipe, we substitute red wine for palm wine to give that Nigerian touch. Here’s how to make your own Palm wine sangria to cool off on a hot sunny day.
- 1 orange, sliced.
- 1 medium apple, diced.
- ½ cup blueberries
- 800ml palm wine
- 2 cups ice cubes
- Mint leaves
- Orange slices
STEPS TO PREPARE
- Add orange, apple, and blueberries to a pitcher.
- Pour palm wine, stir and let it sit in the fridge till you ready to serve.
- Serve with ice.
- Garnish with orange wedge and mint.
