Racquel Bailey, the actress who gained national attention by renting multiple billboards across Atlanta to get Tyler Perry’s attention, has landed a part on his new show.
According to TMZ, She will star on Perry’s new show, “Sistas,”.
Sistas is about a group of girlfriends who are all single. It stars KJ Smith, Ebony Obsidian, Mignon Von and Novi Brown and is directed, written and executive produced by Perry.
Bailey will play a police officer who once dated one of the leads in the show. She will be in the season one finale and may appear in season two, TMZ reported.
She already auditioned for a Perry project, although whether it was the upcoming BET show is unclear. It is also reported that the billboard got Bailey 20 auditions, and she booked two other gigs before getting “Sistas.”
Back in June, around the time Bailey’s billboard went viral, Perry asked that people not spend money on extravagant measures to get his attention and stick to auditioning.
