Confirming the news, Don Jazzy, took to his Twitter handle to celebrate Rima as she turned a year older.

Judging by a wedding video on Rima’s Instagram page, the couple have been married for about a year.

This news also coincides with the release of the singer’s new love song ‘The Best Part’ which features Rima.

1. She was born on July 4.

2. Her father is Lebanese while her mother is from Sierra Leone.

3. By the age of seven, she could speak four different languages. This was because she lived in multiple cities and countries with her family, who became refugees due to the war in Sierra Leone.

4. She received a scholarship to the African Leadership Academy(ALA), marking a turning point in her life.

5. In 2012 she was awarded the Allan Gray Gold Prize for her outstanding business skills.

6. She continued her academic career at Brandeis University, Boston, Massasechets where in 2016, she received the highest honours (Suma Cum Laude) in business/economics.

7. While at ALA, Rima was the CFO of a tailoring business on campus and a founding member and General Manager of a student-run Salon.

8. Rima won awards for her skills in entrepreneurship and secured internships in the energy sector in Sub-Saharan Africa in South Africa, Ghana, and Nigeria for prestigious companies like Tata Africa Holdings, Endeavor Energy Holdings, and Symbion Powers, where she offered her talents and knowledge.

9. In 2016, Rima became a Senior Associate at Kupanda Capital.

10. Rima is currently the director of A&R for the music powerhouse Mavin Records. She was instrumental in developing and bringing the partnership between Mavin and Kupanda to fruition.
