The 2018 All Africa Music Awards (also referred to as AFRIMA) is just around the corner and our Nigerian stars are definitely set to win as the likes of Davido, Tiwa Savage, Wizkid and Simi have been announced among the nominees.

Simi definitely deserves some accolades as she has been nominated in 5 different categories including;

• Best female artiste in Western Africa
• Best Artist In African Pop
• Songwriter of the year
• Artiste of the year

AFRIMA was established by the International Committee AFRIMA, in collaboration with the African Union (AU) to reward and celebrate musical works, talents and creativity around the African continent while promoting the African cultural heritage. Its pioneer Awards show was held in 2014.
