Social Media Sensation, #Elsa Majimbo Stays Winning And These 2 Major Wins In One Week Are Proof


There is no stopping Elsa Majimbo, the social media comedienne who is gradually taking over the world.

The 19-year-old Kenyan star who came into prominence in 2020 with her hilarious videos has continued to make major moves while also receiving global recognition.

Her first major win was when she got signed by Rihanna’s Fenty as an ambassador following it up with an E! People’s Choice Awards win in the African Social Star category.

Since then she has also been featured in various international magazines and interviews.

She also recently featured on her first magazine cover on Teen Vogue as part of its Young Hollywood Class of 2021.

The 19-year-old is featured alongside the likes of American actress Charli D’Amelio, fellow comedian Ziwe Fumudoh, American dancer Michael Le and US-based rapper Lil Yatchy.

Explaining the issue Teen Vogue wrote, “This year’s Young Hollywood issue is focused on the creators who kept us entertained. People at the front of the culture, pushing us to think, laugh, dance, and cry. The #TVYoungHollywood Class of 2021 has arrived.”

“It takes extraordinary talent to shine through a year of pandemic, protests, and a presidential election. But these rising stars did just that,” Teen Vogue wrote.

When asked where she saw her herself in 10 years, she said:

Very rich. With a very heavy bag. Literally a bag that’s dragging me. Rich and successful in the industry and just in my career, very successful, still going on strong, still stunning, I mean still gorgeous. Just like I am now, drop dead gorgeous. Very happy.


Days after, she announced her collaboration with renowned Italian designer, Maison Valentino to create a fashion collection.

Sharing the news, Majimbo wrote: ELSAXVALENTINO !!!! I’m so proud to announce my entry into high fashion with @MaisonValentino collaboration! Coming soon!  ITS GONNA BE EPIC !!
