4.   Hand wash your bras for durability

You should always hand wash your bras. The washing machine is too rough on them, no matter what. You can hand wash bras in a sink. It really doesn’t take that much longer, and it really will make a big difference in their quality and how long they last. Soak your bras in warm, soapy water for about an hour. Rinse them in cool water, then hang them to dry.

5.   Never wear your bras two days in a row

To keep your bras in the best shape possible, don’t wear them twice in a row. They start to stretch and get ruined the more you wear them, especially when you do it for days in a row. If you have a particular bra you love that you wear with a lot of items, it’s worth it to get another one so you can switch on and off.

6.  Always use mild detergent

Bras are really delicate. You should not wash them with the same soap or detergent that you use on towels and clothes. You can look for special lingerie detergents. Whatever you choose, make sure it doesn’t include alcohol or bleach, as these can wear your bras out more.

7.  Always hang your bras to dry

Don’t put your bras in the dryer, the heat will spoil the way your bras look and feel. Hang them to dry instead. Before you lay your bra out, make sure the cups aren’t folded.
