These Tips Will Help You Move On Quickly After Being ‘Ghosted’

Let’s be honest, we all have been ghosted at one point in time.

You know that moment when you meet someone who ticks all the right boxes on your list, who meets all your standards of a future husband, then you guys begin to hang out and text each other on a regular, then boom, he goes quiet and disappears. That is what ‘Ghosting’ indicates.

Ghosting is an immature way of saying ‘I don’t want to be with you anymore’ without actually saying it which is more painful because you begin to wonder what went wrong and why he isn’t talking to you anymore.

Here are ways to get over being ghosted.

1. First, ensure you’ve actually been ghosted

You need to confirm that you’ve truly been ghosted. Many times, it could be that something has happened to him, and he just needs some privacy.

Some people’s personalities are so confusing that he may not even say a word. Maybe weeks later, he’ll come back apologizing for not letting you know his problem.

However, still be sure that you have actually been ghosted if the signs make sense to you.

2. Try to talk it out

Talk it out with him. Let him know that you’re both adults, and it’s better you both make a decision whether to continue being partners or not.

If he doesn’t say anything or ignores you, then just let him be. He’s a baby after all.

3. Then Stop contacting him

You can now stop contacting him after being sure that you’ve been ghosted.

If you need to cry, please cry. It takes all the pain away. It also helps your body release some fluid. One healthy thing for you.

So please, cry.

4.List all bad features he has

Create a list of all the bad things you ‘tolerated’ about him. Physical appearance or personality, anything at all.

It could be his big head that was always heavy whenever he rested on your laps, or his relatively small legs that made it seem as if he was your little brother.

Laugh about it and pretend he’s just some ex.

5. Delete everything related to him

Pictures, videos, selfies, photos on instagram, everything! Even if you were pretty in that dress you wore beside him, DELETE IT!

Or, you could just crop yourself and crop him out of the photo.

Also, after deleting his stuff, try not to snoop on him as this can bring all the memories. He may have moved on already so this may cause you more pain,

6. Participate in fun activities

Girls just wanna have fun, right? Please, have fun. Go for salsa nights, go to parties, boat cruises, hang out with friends, play games, visit a go-karting venue, most of all, HAVE FUN.

This always works. It definitely does, EVERY TIME. You need to have fun with people, at places and with things that you love doing.

7. Move on

Instead of thinking or expecting that he will have a rethink and come rushing it your arms, just move on with your life and forget about him completely.

If he didn’t have the courage to explain what was wrong, then he didn’t really care about your feelings in the first.

Is this really the type of person you want to depend on and date?

Absolutely not!

You can start talking to other guys to ease the pain, because they say the best way to get over someone is to get under someone else.
