Ensure you take off your makeup with at least face wipes before hitting the sheets.

2. You do Not Moisturize The Skin At Night

Taking your makeup off at night is one good step but it does not end there. After cleansing your skin it is necessary that you moisturize so as to hydrate and replenish the lost moisture in your skin.

3. You Wash your face and body with hot water

Regular bathing with hot water is also one of the bad habits that affect your skin. Hot water can make the body feel more comfortable, however, frequent bathing can cause dry and rough skin.

To avoid damaging your skin, it is advisable to rinse with cool water and warm water in turns, not use overheated water, and moisturize the skin immediately after bathing.

4. You exfoliate too much

Exfoliating, removing dead skin cells on the surface to get rid of dullness and reveal fresh-looking skin, is an important part of one’s skincare routine but it can be harmful to your skin when you do it a lot.

Scrubbing or peeling too often, and using products with harsh granules, can cause irritation and strip away the natural oils that protect your skin. It is best to exfoliate not more than two times in a week.

5. You constantly put your hands and phones on your face

Your hands and also handheld devices carry a lot of bacteria and germs. It is easy to transfer those germs to your face which can be damaging.

Ensure you sanitize your hands and phones regularly and avoid the habit of touching your face unnecessarily.
