Here’s How To Prepare Chicken Caesar Salad That’ll Get Everyone Drooling


The chicken caesar salad is just one of the amazing salad recipes you could ever have. This recipe is extremely delicious despite its calorie content.

Here’s how you can make the Chicken Caesar salad:

Ingredients

  1. 4 thick slices crusty white bread
  2. 3 tbsp olive oil
  3. 2 skinless, boneless chicken breasts
  4. 1 large cos or romaine lettuce, leaves
  5. Black pepper
  6. Parmesan cheese
  7. Anchovies
  8. Mayonnaise
  9. White wine vinegar

Procedure

  1. Heat the oven to 200C/fan 180C/gas 6. Tear 1 medium crusty white bread into big, ragged croutons or, if you prefer, cut with a bread knife. Place it on a large baking sheet or tray and sprinkle up to 2 tbsp olive oil.
  2. Rub the oil into the bread and sprinkle some salt. Leave it to bake for 8-10 mins
  3. Rub 2 skinless, boneless chicken breasts with 1 tbsp olive oil, season. Place pan over a medium heat for 1 min, until hot, but not smoking. Lay the chicken on the pan (it will sizzle if it’s hot enough) and leave for 4 mins.
  4. Turn the chicken over, then cook for 4 minutes more. Crosscheck to know if it’s done.
  5. Hit 1 garlic clove with the flat of a knife and peel off the skin. Crush or grind it.
  6. Mash 2 anchovies with a fork against the side of a small bowl.
  7. Select a handful of parmesan cheese, grate it and mix it with the garlic, anchovies. Also add 5 tablespoon mayonnaise and 1 tablespoon white wine vinegar. Season to taste. It should be the consistency of yogurt – if yours is thicker, stir in a few tsps water to thin it.
  8. Use a peeler or any other alternative to shave the cheese. Tear 1 large cos or romaine lettuce into large pieces and put in a large bowl. Pull chicken into bite-size strips and scatter half over the leaves, along with half the croutons.
  9. Scatter the rest of the chicken and finally lay the dressing. Sprinkle the parmesan on top of it.
  10. Serve as desired.
