Necessity, they say, is the mother of invention. It’s all about being settled and tapping into the various resources around you.
Here’s a DIY gladiator sandal you can try this weekend.
Materials Needed
- Flat Leather Slippers
- Chiffon Scarf
- Scissors
PROCESS
Step 1
Ensure that the scarf you want to use is good quality as that is key to the success of the gladiator sandal. It is important that the scarf is oblong and lightweight.
Then use your scissors to cut the scarf into equal halves so that you have two long pieces of fabric.
Step 2
Fold the scarf and slide it under the “V” of the flip flop, place the loose ends of the straps through the loop and pull tight, then equally slide the knot to the bottom of the “V” and separate the two fabric straps
Step 3
Once you are done with stage 2, wrap the fabric straps around the “V” of the flip-flops. There are many styles to wrap the ankle straps and you can wrap it whichever way suits you but ensure it comes out beautiful.
