News had gone rife that her name was among the list of 37 police officers recommended for demotion and dismissal. Yomi Shogunle, former head of the Police Complaint unit was also on the list.
In a series of tweets on Saturday, Ayo Akanji, a member of President Muhammadu Buhari’s media team had released the names and service numbers of the dismissed officers on Twitter.
He also said the police administrative action includes dismissal, reprimand, and demotion.
