How To Prevent Gas Explosions In Your Home Using These 6 Important Tips

Your first time at the pool? These tips would guide you.

1. Only get in the pool if you can swim

A lot of people may not be able to swim but would just want an opportunity to wear their swimsuit and dabble in the water. While this can be fun, it is very risky and should be avoided, especially if you are alone. Not every facility offers swimming pool accessories for beginning swimmers and not all have life guards on standby. Please, if you cannot swim, just avoid the pool.

2. Be careful with your mobile phones

It is no secret that mobile phones and water are enemies to the mobile. Most times when people go to the pool area, they leave their phones at the edge of the pool or on whatever chair they may have placed their towel and this is not advisable.

It is advisable you leave your phone safely tucked away before going to swim. Also, you run a risk of having your phone stolen.

If you are however too attached to your phone, you can take it with you but endeavor to put it in a plastic bag if you plan to keep it near the pool.

3. Go to the pool with your own swim wear

Though some facilities have swimwear that can be purchased, ensure you go with your own stuff, that way you are not disappointed and you run a lesser risk of being infested by skin rash or any  infectious ailment.

Always ensure you pack your own swimsuit, your swimming cap, and towels.

4. Do not drink the pool water

The pool can be fun and sometimes you may playfully want to taste the water or even drink it….please don’t! The pool water may look clean and pure, but that does not mean it is clean.

Aside from the fact that chlorine, which is added to the water to kill germs is absolutely not good for your health, the pool may also contain body fluids, urine and fecal matter from people who may have used it before you.

5. Go with the right swim wear

Some places are very strict with what swimmers wear into the pool. Some places would not allow you in if you are dressed appropriately. Leggings, baggy shorts and heavy tanks would not be permitted in the pool so it is important you go with the right gear.

It would do you absolutely no good to go swimming for the first time wearing something you are not comfortable with. You know your body and its inadequacies and though, it is perfectly okay to love yourself, you do not want to wear what would make you uncomfortable.
