In case you never watched the movie, “Alakada” tells the story of Yetunde Animashaun, a girl from a poor home who lives a fake life and tries to fit into the crowd, thereby cooking up stories about her family, social life and financial status.

The false life and accent that Yetunde uses to get whatever she wants always gets viewers cracking their ribs. Also, her actions get her into so much trouble, and this makes the story even more hilarious.

Written by Olukayode Aderigbigbe and Adekunle Sajawu, Alakada: The Sitcom contains 26 episodes, so far, but no release date has been announced.

Alakada fans are indeed excited for the TV series, expecting more laughter and ridiculous stories from Yetunde wherever she goes.
