Every applicant’s goal is to get the job by the end of the interview. Most do not get the job, not because they are not suitable, but often because their appearance puts off the interviewer.
Basically, how you look at an interview is way too important. Here is a guide on a few things you should not be caught with on the day of your interview.
1. Do Not Wear Slippers

This is wrong! On no account should you be caught with slippers if you have an interview, no matter how much they cost.
2. Bright Colored Underwear

The last thing you want to catch your interviewer’s eye is the colour of your underwear, so it’s safer to stick with black and white colored underwear, preferably covering up as much as you can.

It should not be visible in the first place.
3. Shorts/Mini Skirts

Even if you are being interviewed for the position of a physical education teacher. Please do not wear shorts. Mini skirts are a no-no, too.

4. Tight Pants

You should wear pants that fit properly. You would not want to appear uncomfortable or indecent before your interviewer.
5. Low-cut Blouses/Dresses

Blouses that expose your cleavage should not be worn to an interview.
6. Multi-Colored Weaves

If your weave is too bright, it may not paint a good picture of you to your interviewer, who barely knows you. Stick to dull-colored weaves.
7. Prominent Earrings

Prominent earrings like hula hoops, chandeliers, and Kente print earrings should be saved for parties or weddings. Simply wear studs for your interview.
To make a good first impression, you need to dress appropriately and separate your social image (if it’s more casual, and it probably is) from your professional presence.
