Ever Heard Of Garri Chicken Nuggets? Try Your Hands On This Easy Recipe


Garri Chicken Nuggets form the Nigerian version of the Western ‘chicken nuggets’ or ‘crispy chicken’. Moreover, the garri in this recipe replaces the bread crumbs used to prepare chicken nuggets.

Here are the procedures of preparing the garri chicken nuggets:

Ingredients

All-purpose flour- 1 cup

Seasoned Gari

Chicken Chest- 2 pieces

Salt- 1 Tablespoon

Ground Cameroon (Black) pepper -1 Tablespoon

Seasoning cubes- 1 Tablespoon

Eggs – 2

Vegetable oil

 

Procedure

  1. Shred the chicken into smaller pieces.
  2. Sprinkle 1/2 tablespoon of the Cameroon pepper, salt and 1 seasoning cube on the chicken.
  3. Add a little vegetable oil and keep inside refrigerator for a little while.
  4. Sprinkle remaining Cameroon pepper, salt and seasoning cubes on the garri.
  5. Heat up vegetable oil on fire.
  6. Beat eggs and dip chicken into the beaten eggs.
  7. Coat the chicken by dipping it into the cup of garri.
  8. Dip chicken into oil and fry till you get the best result.
  9. Serve with ketchup or any desired dipping sauce.
