Planning a wedding can be a lot of stress for an impending bride and planning a Nigerian wedding can even be tougher. This is because there are so many ceremonies and so many people offering their own suggestions and contributions.

Yet many Nigerian women have successfully planned their weddings with ease. How did they do it?

Well here are a few steps you should take to have a successful Nigerian wedding

1.  Create a wedding folder

Start off by planning early, preferably six months before the wedding. A wedding folder would serve as a useful guide. Youcan write all that you plan to do each month and tick them off when you have achieved your goal

2. Make a list of people who can help or hire a wedding planner

When planning Nigerian wedding, it is typical that you involve family members especially your aunties and other relatives who have had some experience. Make a list of those people and contact them.

Ensure that you make reservations at the registry beforehand so you can get your marriage registered just in time for the wedding proper.
