128 contestants worldwide are set to participate in the Miss Universe 2024 competition, the 73rd edition.
The Miss Universe finale will be held at the Arena CDMX in Mexico City, Mexico, on 16 November 2024. At the end of the event, Sheynnis Palacios of Nicaragua will crown her successor.
About 19 beauty queens including Nigeria’s Chidinma Adetshina will compete for the coveted crown.

1. Nelma Tchissola Ferreira (Angola)
Nelma Tchissola Ferreira will be representing Angola at Miss Universe 2024. The 26-year-old is a former 2018 Miss World Angola contestant and 2nd runner-up Miss Universe Angola 2022.

Thanalo Keutwile is Botswana’s representative. The 28-year-old model and medical doctor hopes to follow Mpule Kwelagobe, the first African woman to win the Miss Universe in 1999.

34-year-old Logina Salah is one contestant who wears many hats. A finance graduate, she is a model, makeup artist, mother, influencer and advocate for women’s rights. She was honored as the Most Influential Woman in 2020 by the World Women Foundation.

7.Diana Dashaira Mouhafo ( Equatorial Guinea)
With a degree in commerce and marketing, Diana Mouhafo is representing Equatorial Guinea. The 24-year-old has competed in Miss Universe since 2019 and hopes to be her nation’s first semifinalist.

8. Snit Tewoldemedhin (Eritrea)
Snit Tewoldemedhin has a degree in neuroscience and is passionate about helping youngsters with learning impairments. She is a Montessori teacher who is passionate about education and wants to provide resources for special needs schooling around the world.
The 25-year-old won the Miss Africa USA in 2023 but is participating in Miss Universe for the first time.

Saran Bah is a model and humanitarian who started her career at the age of 19. A former Miss Guinea (2019), she has represented Guinea on international stages, including Miss World 2021. She placed among the top 40 in Miss World 2021/22
