  1. Shea Butter
  2. Cocoa Butter
  3. Bees Wax
  4. Aloe Vera
  5. Olive Oil
  6. Glycerine
  7. Tea Tree Oil
  8. Essential oil of choice
  9. Small Containers or lipstick tubes

1. Shea Butter Lip Balm

For the first lip balm, mix the shea butter, olive oil and two drops of tea tree oil into a small container. If you want it to be more pliable, you can either whip the shea butter with a mixer or melt it before mixing. Voila, you are done making the first lip balm. This lip balm is very effective for rainy and dry seasons and it will ensure that your lips stay soft and moisturized.

2. Cocoa Butter Lip Balm


The smell of cocoa butter alone is very refreshing. Cocoa butter helps to even out skin tone and it can help in improving the appearance of your lips. To make, melt some cocoa butter. you can do this by putting a steel container with cocoa butter in it inside preheated water. When it had liquefied, add two drops of glycerine and any other essential oil if your choice. Pour in a container and wait for it to cool before using it.

3. Honey Beeswax Lip Balm

Honey is not only delicious but has very moisturizing properties. Melt some beeswax the same way you melted the cocoa butter and add a teaspoon of honey to it. Once the beeswax hardens, your lip balm is ready for use.

4. Aloe Vera Lip Balm

Aloe Vera contains a lot of vitamins and antioxidants alongside its moisturizing properties. However, it is very bitter o the taste. Mix two teaspoons of aloe vera water, one tablespoon of honey for taste and some melted beeswax. Mix all of them properly and wait for it to cool down. Your lip balm is ready for use. You can add an essential oil like lavender for added benefits.
