‘Go And Bring Husband To Daddy O’ -Ooni of Ife Tells Daughter As She Turns 30
Oba Adeyeye Ogunwusi Ojaja II, the Ooni of Ife, has celebrated his daughter, Adeola Aanuoluwapo, as she turns 30 today, Monday, May 20.
Adeola has a Bachelor’s from Warwick University and a Master’s from University College London.
In the post he shared via Instagram, the monarch thanked God for her life while advising her that it was time to get married.
He wrote:
‘’Princess Adeola, Aanuoluwapo, Atutunini, Bamdefe Ogunwusi, Omo Ojaja II. I am truly grateful for the fulfilling life you have lived. May God Almighty continue to be with you in all your endeavors. Amen!
When you turned 10, your father would talk to you about school and your future. At 20, he encouraged you to listen and understand the importance of morals and well-being, even as you sought independence.
Now that you are 30, you are a grown woman. Your father senses that you no longer wish to be advised as independence has finally set in.

Recall that in 2021, Adeola’s mother Omolara Olatubosun revealed that the Ooni of Ife was not present in her and her daughter’s lives in the early years, calling him an absentee father.
Adeola was born as a result of a teenage relationship between Oba Ogunwusi and Olatubosun. Oba Ogunwusi was 19 at the time.
